The State Updates section refers to Department of Education and Special Education issues. TASP will provide School Psychologists current information from our liaison.

Ann Sanders is the Director of Assessment, Information, and Research at the
Department of Education / Division of Special Education. She will be providing updates so that you will not be dependent upon a state representative speaking directly to you, a school system, or rumors to provide updated information. An archive of state memos that relate to your practice can be accessed.

Ann is listing frequently asked questions with her best understanding of the Department of Education's interpretation of memo's, law's, criteria, and other related matters.

If you have a question that is not addressed, you can ask Ann directly. Her responses will be updated regularly by TASP at this location.
