E-mail Print PDF

This post is the first for a new category for technical resources for school psychologists.  The “What They Play” web resource provides gaming information by platform, genre, and ESRB rating.  You can use this resource to research new educational games or to learn about some of the games that students play today.  This site can also help one understand the content material within games, allowing parents to make decisions about the games their children play.

The site has an editorial section and a newsletter to keep you update to date.

Synopsis from the site:

What They Play  What They Like’s first product, What They Play, is the parents guide to video games. As the most comprehensive resource of its kind, What They Play provides parents with expert insight into the themes and content of hundreds of today’s most popular interactive entertainment products. Through thousands of informative video game descriptions and topical feature articles, What They Play empowers parents with everything they need to know to make informed decisions about what games are right for their children.

This new category and first article was suggested by Ron Roberts; please provide your technical resources and we will post an article.
