Polk County Schools - School Psychologist Opening

The School Psychologist provides a full range of school psychological services to children ages preK-12, including screening and assessment, assisting in the creation of Individual Education Plans, EasyIEP administration, and consulting with school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate. The School Psychologist is also involved in the RTI process in evaluating RTI data in order to determine eligibility as well as being involved with the school level team during monthly data meetings as appropriate. The School Psychologist functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to determine the student's eligibility for special education services, appropriate programming, and oversees on-going progress monitoring. Master's degree accepted along with licensure to practice as a school psychologist.
