8:00 - 8:30   Breakfast / Sign-In

8:30 - 9:30   Melissa Gordon, MNPS Equity and Diversity Coach

Topic: LGBTQ+  bridge to practice, changes in state policies, and impact of services.  

9:45 - 10:45   Dr. April Ebbinger, TN Department of Education, Director of Psychological and Behavioral Supports

Topic:  Disproportionate representation: What is it and how to ensure all students are appropriately evaluated and identified.

11:00 - 12:00   Dr. Lisa Davies,  Lipscomb University, Program Director, School Counseling Program and Project Director, IMPACT Initiative 

Topic: Including SEL practices into student pathways, trauma-informed strategies with a focus on the MTSS process

12:00 - 12:45   Food Truck Lunch Provided

12:45 - 1:45.  Dr. Megan Parker Peters, Lipscomb University, Associate Dean & Professor, College of Education

Topic: Twice Exceptional assessment, differentiation with other disabilities, and strategies to ensure a student’s intellectual needs are met if behavioral concerns are present

1:45 - 2:00   Sweet treat to end a full day of learning

  • TASP is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists to provide continuing education for school psychologists.  In order to receive NASP credit, participants must arrive on time and stay for the duration of the NASP approved sessions. Partial credit will not be given.  All requisite attendance checks must be completed in order to receive a certification of attendance.
  • Refund Policy: Full refunds will be provided for pre-paid registrants after the conference, IF notification of absence was provided at least two weeks prior to the conference.  Any cancellations received within two weeks of the conference will be refunded after the conference minus a $20 cancelation fee.  Submit cancelation requests to the TASP president at tasponline@gmail.com
